Yes, I understand: no one will ask Romney whether it was appropriate for him to prostrate himself before this guy and beg for his endorsement because everyone in the elite media has agreed to ignore the fact that Nugent has said things like this:
About Hillary Clinton: "You probably can't use the term 'toxic cunt' in your magazine, but that's what she is. Her very existence insults the spirit of individualism in this country. This bitch is nothing but a two-bit whore for Fidel Castro."
Or this:
Decked out in full-on camouflage hunting gear, Nugent wielded two machine guns while raging, "Obama, he's a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun. Hey Hillary," he continued. "You might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch." Nugent summed up his eloquent speech by screaming "freedom!"
And ... oh, do I have to run through this again? This blog has been talking about Nugent for years, as have a lot of other people, and nobody cares 'cuz he's so darn colorful, right? (See especially this old post and this one.) So, yeah, I guess it's just fine that he's endorsing Romney.

Hmmm. Nugent, Mustaine, Kid Rock? Gone are the days when Republicans sought the political opinions of tough talking country boys who loves them some women. Has Axl Rose weighed in yet?
