FUNNY HOW EVERYBODY WHO DISAGREES WITH THE RIGHT GOT THAT WAY VIA BRAINWASHING AND INDOCTRINATION

Have you heard the news? Only right-wingers are capable of thinking for themselves! We, on the other hand, have our opinions force-fed to us!

Here's James Inhofe yesterday:

Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) said Tuesday that the gun control debate doesn't have anything to do with the families of the Newtown, Conn., shooting victims, and that the only reason those families think it does is because President Barack Obama told them it did....

"See, I think it's so unfair of the administration to hurt these families, to make them think this has something to do with them when, in fact, it doesn't," Inhofe said.

When it was suggested that the families of Newtown victims actually believe the gun debate pertains to them, Inhofe said, "Well, that's because they've been told that by the president."

He told them stuff! And that made them think things! Things they wouldn't otherwise think!

Liberals are always doing that! And only conservatives can resist!

Ben Carson last week:

"Well, [liberals are] the most racist people there are. Because you know, they put you in a little category, a little box, 'you have to think this way, how could you dare come off the plantation?'"

Cassy Fiano, blogging about Sarah Palin in 2010:

Today's feminists ... are the least "pro-choice" people on the planet.... They want to dictate everything about the lives of American women. If you don't live exactly the way they want you to live, then you're "anti-woman" and an "anti-feminist."

... Sad, isn't it? A movement that once fought for equality for women now doesn't want women to think for themselves.

Seems, at one point or another, we've all encountered the supposedly liberal assumption that gay people are expected to think a certain way because of our sexual orientation.

Curiously, all this fiercely independent cogitation leads right-wingers to opinions that are 99% identical. But conservatives are thinking for themselves! It's just a coincidence that independent thought leads them to think exactly alike!
