THE PASSION OF THE PALIN

I see that the Democrat-hating L.A. Times blogger Andrew Malcolm refers to the McCain campign's limitations on access to Sarah Palin as a "Hanoi strategy." Y'know -- as in the torture prisons of the Vietnam War.

Simultaneously, MacRanger of the right-wing blog Macsmind says that what the mainstream media is doing to Palin when it does question her is "gang rape."

Come on, righties -- there's got to be more where that came from.

Lynching -- who's got lynching?

Or how about some concentration-camp metaphors? Or crucifixion?

Drawing and quartering and half-hanging? The thumbscrew? Acid in the face? Hot lead enema?

Folks, they're asking her germane questions. What could be more sick, horrifying, and brutal?
