The Tribble-headed darling of the mouth-breathers

Yes, AynRandPaul and his fellow teabaggers are definitely this ignorant, and yes, repugs absolutely deny any fact or aspect of reality they find inconvenient,  but what I see in this is the Great Libertarian Hope publicly abandoning any pretense of political philosophy to throw himself into the arms of the Fox-worshipping morons who actually voted for him:

Steve Benen at Maddowblog:
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), meanwhile, didn't just say something outrageous in the heat of the moment, as some kind of emotional outburst -- he put his nonsense in writing.
"Just because a couple people on the Supreme Court declare something to be 'constitutional' does not make it so. The whole thing remains unconstitutional," the freshman lawmaker said in a statement.
First, a five-member majority is not "a couple people." Second, as many members of the United States Senate should probably realize, it's the Supreme Court's job to determine a law's constitutionality.
And third, a strange, self-accredited ophthalmologist may like to believe "the whole thing remains unconstitutional," but fortunately, it's not up to the junior senator from Kentucky to make such a declaration.

One might think that someone who was a Senator might have some idea of how our government works.

His staff probably has to put reminders on his handheld, and bathrooms on his GPS, so he doesn't piss in the nearest water-cooler and sh*t in the nearest chair.

Look, Senator Aqua-sh*thead, we Liberals have been suffering from one bad SC decision to another since Burger became CJ of the SC.

We've had the grace not to riot after atrocious and rediculous decisions like Bush v. Gore, and Citizens, for just two recent examples, so, Senator "Moran," do something useful for the first time in your miserable life, and sit down and stfu!

What a dope! WHAT A MAROON!!!

You know, there's a lot of Marbury v. Madison bashing on the right (yes, they're still fighting a decision handed down over 200 years ago)...but this is a level of crazy way beyond denying judicial review, because he's effectively saying there's some inherent unconstitutionality regardless of what judges say. Which kinda raises the question of, who evaluates that? Rand Paul, maybe?

Tom,
I hope you realize that even Ron Paul realizes that his son's a feckin' idjit, and that he's probably too feckin' stupid to stay in the Senate, even in TN, and he'll make a deal with Mitt to NOT make some huge fuss at the Convention - if only Mitt'll make Dr. Paul Jr Sectretary of HHS, or Education, or something else he can feck 9 ways to Sunday, that Conservatives don't care anything about, and want to see destroyed anyway

Ron, crazy as he is, isn't stupid.
Rand genuinely is.

This is Ron's only way of taking care of his "moran" offspring.

And if Mitt loses, he'll have to tell Rand that he's on his own from now on - Daddy can't help him anymore.
