It's delightful to see thoughtful righties taking seriously the latest science news from, er, Pravda: "Earth on the Brink of an Ice Age."

Sounds much like what the realist side has been saying for years, doesn't it?

Pravda has more credibility than Al “Oscar, Grammy, Nobel” Gore.

-- Don Surber

Al Gore hits unemployment line

--Director Blue

Also see National Review, Jammie Wearing Fool, and the only mildly skeptical Hot Air.

I guess this means the right also takes seriously these other recent hard-hitting Pravda reports:

Russian fishermen catch squeaking alien and eat it

Coffee to cure baldness

Unknown fire and jelly-like creatures live in Earth's atmosphere

Aliens land in Australia to create humans

UFO clouds abduct humans

Extraterrestrial visitor in Russian province

Mysterious amphibious human-like creature spotted in the Caspian Sea

Terrible mutations may turn humans into plants or animals

Centaurs appeared after copulation between humans and animals

Weird hairy females seduce hot-blooded Caucasian men

That last one is illustrated:

Yup, folks -- that, to a large extent, is what Pravda is now: essentially a supermarket tabloid. There's your reliable source, righties.
