ECHOING-YOUR-CONVERSATION-PARTNER'S-WORDS-GATE!!!!

Uh-oh -- Barack Obama is an America-trashing Antichrist who hates freedom because he used an ironic rhetorical device (I believe it would be litotes):
President Obama vowed Thursday to fix any problems that contributed to the deaths of four American foreign service personnel during last month's attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, saying that "when four Americans get killed, it's not optimal."
Irony is for effete college professors! Real men believe in straight talkin'!

Mitt Romney is now going to spent the next week and a half using that nyah-nyah tone of fake theatrical outrage and saying, "Did you hear what the president said about this outrageous act of terrorism? He said it was not optimal! Can you believe that? Well, I'll tell you this, Mr. President: On November 6, the voters are going to give you experience that is 'not optimal'! Heh heh heh heh heh!"

And, um, Obama actually used the phrase "not optimal" because the person he was addressing -- Jon Stewart -- used the word "optimal" in questioning him:
Stewart asked Obama whether the investigation would address communication problems that contributed to confusion about the circumstances of the attack in Benghazi.

"Because I would say, even you would admit, it was not the optimal response, at least to the American people, as far as all of us being on the same page," Stewart said.
And Obama agreed: "it's not optimal."

You see, Barack Obama is a human being, with normal human conversational habits. Someone uses a word in speaking to him and he includes the word in his reply. This is how ordinary human speech works.

But it won't matter. This is now a gaffe. This is now a scandal. And Mitt Romney will be damned if he's not going to deprive himself of a ten-day self-righteousness-gasm in response to it.
