A report from CPAC today:
In the "closed circuit world on the right," MSNBC's Rachel Maddow is often the subject of ugly denigrations....
During a political discussion at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) today, Fox News pundit and conservative columnist Cal Thomas continued the ugliness. After the Heritage's Genevieve Wood played a quote of Maddow eloquently debunking the conservative argument on contraception, Thomas said:
I'm glad that you played the Rachel Maddow clip because I think she is the best argument in favor of her parents using contraception. I would be all for that. And all of the rest of the crowd at MSNBC, too, for that matter....Hmmm, Cal ... what was the name of that book you wrote with Bob Beckel a few years back? Oh yeah, I remember:
Still having a bit of trouble with that practice-what-you-preach stuff?

This isn't hypocritical of Cal at all. When a conservative bemoans partisan rhetoric that is destroying America, he means rhetoric from the left. The way to stop the partisan war is for everyone to agree with him*.
*(See also the conservative definition for "compromise.")
I guess his Mama told him before she died that she wished Roe v. Wade was an option when she was carrying him.
I think her husband punching her in the stomach caused his brain damage.
You know, a debate actually worth seeing might be Maddow v. Thomas (Cal or, for that matter, Clarence/Ginny).
I'm sure Cal would argue his book was just satire.
That was clearly not intended to be a factual publication.
