One last debate thought: Even if Kerry's performance hasn't
changed the minds of a lot of voters yet, it will reenergize his base, which has been demoralized lately. The rally crowds will be bigger and more enthusiastic. The press (I hope) will pick this up -- campaign reporters like to sneer at Democrats (to prove they're not biased liberals), but they also like a race to be a race, and they can say it's a race again if there's new energy on the road after Kerry's debate success. And
that might sway swing voters -- if they start being told again that Kerry's a credible candidate, they might give him another look.
