If depleted uranium is just one of those non-issues silly lefties like to whine about, why was the child of a DU-poisoned U.S. soldier recently born with a severely deformed left hand? The non-liberal Washington Times reported the story last week; the New York Daily News (which arranged the test of the sick soldier for DU) has more. (The News notes that the soldier and his wife "have seen photos of Iraqi babies born with deformities that are eerily similar.")
