For those keeping score at home:
The story about Wal-Mart's new anti-critic "war room" was on the front page of today's New York Times.
The story about Wal-Mart's appalling arrangement with the Labor Department (which agreed to give the company more than two weeks' notice before inspecting any store for child labor law violations) was on page A14.
Oh well, what do I expect? The latter story was about trivial stuff -- you know, illegal and immoral behavior by America's biggest employer. The "war room" story is about what's really important -- big business fighting back!
