Hey, I'm back -- just wanted to say Happy New Year. (There'll be some real posts later today.)

My news exposure during the week was hit or miss, so I'm still catching up. I did see some CNN a couple of days ago -- favorite moment was Tucker Carlson on CNN talking about the death of Artie Shaw, the swing era bandleader. Er, Tucker, very touching, but it's "Begin the Be-GEEN," not "Begin the "Be-GWINE." Aren't right-wingers who wear bow ties supposed to know this stuff?
