Or death certificate -- or at least all the death proof you should need:

Al-Qaeda has confirmed Osama bin Laden's death in an Internet statement, The Associated Press reports....

Though it included praise of bin Laden, much of the 11-paragraph statement was dedicated to underlining that al-Qaeda would live on, depicting him as just another in a line of "martyrs" from the group....

I actually thought a photo should be released, but I see the arguments both ways. At this point, the howling from right-wingers makes me want to rally around the decision not to go ahead with the release. And this reinforces that sense. Conspiratorial idiots and war-porn fans who claim that we need evidence (when what they really mean is "we want to get off on his death") have what they say they need now -- confirmation that the event happened. Case closed. Move on.
