Does anyone else wonder whether the White House itself handed Time magazine the material for its story on apparent fibs in Mike Brown's resume -- so he could be relieved of his duties without the ostensible reason being his job performance, which would reflect badly on Bush?
Think back to the Kerik affair -- charge after charge came out, but everyone involved insisted that Kerik was dropped as a nominee not because of any significant transgression that should have been a dealbreaker for Bush, but because Kerik had a problem with a nanny who's yet to be named, identified, or found.
Fig leaves must be created to minimize embarrassment to the Boy King...
