DONALD TRUMP: THE PATTER SONGS

This is being described as evidence of a meltdown, but I think it's just Trump at his baseline level of stability and composure -- he's always like this, and always has been. That's an terrible problem for America and the world, but I don't think it's a worse problem than it was three days ago or a year ago.

We probably should be marching in the streets to demand the removal from office of this emotional train wreck, but the House and Senate will be Republican until next January, so no change is possible. Therefore, all we can do is grumble, laugh...

.. and write Gilbert and Sullivan patter songs, an idea that occurred to a lot of us this morning.

I guess we'll be singing variations of this in our fallout shelters when the bombs drop.
