FEARMONGERING IS MY BUSINESS -- AND BUSINESS IS GOOD

In case you haven't noticed, wingnut welfare recipient is the only employment category in America that rivals Supreme Court justice for job security -- which is my roundabout way of introducing the book that's currently at #27 on the Amazon bestseller list (and no, I don't know if that's the result of bulk buys, but that certainly seems like a distinct possibility):

You just can't kill these careers.

My favorite customer review for the book:
5.0 out of 5 stars technically, she's the only true expert on the subject

As she's the only person in the US verified as having read the whole scheme! Anyone contesting her should work with a certified auditor to observe the date they started reading the bill, the date they finished, and have to get at least 3 out of 10 questions correct to make sure they're capable of comprehension as well.
Right -- no one else in America has read the bill. No congressional staffer. No White House aide. No lobbyist. Just her. What a gal!

So what's the truth value of this book? I don't know, but I'm amused that Amazon will give you a discount if you bundle the book with a copy of Glenn Beck's Agenda 21. Perfect.

And gee, thanks, Andrew Sullivan, for making this woman a star.

How can someone claim to have read something, and still understand so little of what they just read?

It doesn't matter.
The suckers, rubes, marks, fools, stooges, morons, and dopes, won't know the difference.
They'll take it on faith that she's read it, and knows what she's talking about, because, after all, she's against it, and so are they, so who cares whether she she knows a damn thing about it - she's on THEIR team!!!

Btw - Jon Stewart practically disembowled her on his show when she was on. She came on carrying a copy, and then couldn't answer his questions.
He "Bill Kristol'd" her.

Denying healthcare to Americans has become the new Lost Cause.

Poor McCaughey. She's been writing and waging war against expanded healthcare coverage for all Americans for more than two decades. But despite all the money and loud voices behind the new Lost Cause, they were finally outmaneuvered. Reality has caught up to them. But even after the passing of the ACA, after the Supreme Court upheld it, and after Obama's re-election, they're still in denial.

I'm just sorry that a possibly large supply of trees was cut down to produce this.

You don't know the half of it. Even the people who wrote it didn't read it. Or maybe it was written by an autopen attached to a left wing robot.

Let's face it. What this country needs is more conspiracy theories –circulated more frequently, written more outlandishly, and more widely circulated.

Oh, and in case you didn't know it, they're making bills like ACA deliberately long, in order to kill as many trees as possible in order to deforest America so climate change can be blamed on conservatives instead of progressives. You can actually look it up. Somewhere or other.

Very crankily yours,
