MORE PALIN POETRY

All praise to Tim F. of Balloon Juice for Palin Rendered in Verse. There's also some choice verse from some of Tim's commenters.

I was fooling around with Palin poetry throughout the campaign, though I never figured out what to do with it. Here are a few examples:

"A Simple Thing"

Vice presidents
will be able
to be
not only

the position flexible,

but it's going
to be

sort of
this other
duty
as assigned
by the president.

It's a simple thing.

"Inherently"

The people
of America
realize that,
inherently, all
political
power is
inherent
in the people.

And government
is
to be implemented,
policies
are,

on behalf
of the people
and the will
that they

desire
that
their government
engage
in.

"When Did You Know?"

And I knew it was confirmation,
it was right on

that I was
to support him

when early on
in the presidential race,

he had said
something
in the newspaper
that was controversial,

imagine that,

about what
was going on
in the administration.

It was
independent,
is what he had used,

the tone of his comments.

"I Answered Him Yes"

I answered him yes because
I have
the confidence
in that
readiness

and knowing
that you can't blink,
you have to be

wired
in a way of
being so
committed
to the mission,

the mission

that we're on,
reform of this country
and victory in the war,

you
can't
blink.

Part of me wants her to keep generating this word salad, though I'd prefer it if the clock would just strike 15:00 and we can be rid of her.
