PELOSI'S APPROVAL RATINGS: PRETTY MUCH WHAT THEY WERE PRE-GOP FATWA

Wow, the GOP's new war on Pelosi must really be taking its toll, right?

As Nancy Pelosi continues to face a firestorm over what she may have known about aggressive government interrogation techniques, and when, a new survey has more unpleasant news for the House Speaker.

Nearly half of all Americans -- 48 percent -- disapprove of how the California Democrat she is handling her job as Speaker of the House in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Monday, while 39 percent approve of her performance....

Except, um, that's pretty much where she stood back in February in a CNN poll:

The poll suggests that 36 percent have a favorable opinion of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, with 43 percent holding an unfavorable opinion, with one out of five unsure.

So her approval's up 3 and her disapproval's up 5. The margin of error in both polls is plus or minus 3. I call that a wash.
