Yikes:

As I followed the news of the atrocities committed on Americans in Fallujah, Iraq, a saying came to mind: Never judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes.

I was not thinking of the attackers in this way, but of Saddam Hussein. It seems it is not possible to lead a country of animals by use of justice and reason. I better understand the measures Saddam had to take to maintain order.

Now that we are satisfied there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, maybe we should consider giving Iraq back to Saddam with our apologies.
