The downside, of course, is that Nader wouldn't take the money. If the choice is between (a) obtaining significant amounts of cash to help groups fight the good fight day in and day out, in off years as well as election years, and (b) continuing his futile ego trip, I'm 99% certain he'd choose the latter.
