Know where it is on next week's list? At #20 -- that is, completely off the list and stuck in the middle of the "Also Selling" extended list. (Next week's list just went out via e-mail and will be posted on the Times site over the weekend.)

So the new Coulter book was on the main list for a mere four weeks. Her last book, Godless, managed twelve weeks on the list. Long gone are the days when she could stay on the list for 23 weeks, 8 of them at #1, as she did with Slander.

She insulted Jews and it was a fleeting story. She called Al Gore gay and nobody noticed but me.

She's lost her mojo.

Oh, she'll probably still be invited back on big TV shows -- the mainstream media probably can't tell that she's lost it.

But she's lost it.
