Take murder, for example. Banning murder won't actually make murder go away; it'll just take murder away from law-abiding citizens while leaving it in the hands of criminals. In the violent post-apocalyptic hellscape our Democrat cities have become, how are decent people supposed to defend themselves without murdering anybody? And beyond self-defense, murder is an essential tool for maintaining public order (thus preventing your own city from becoming an apocalyptic hellscape).
What Ben Shapiro forgets, and the rest of us should always keep in mind, is this: if crime is outlawed, only outlaws will commit crimes.
