IF TRUMP LOSES IN NOVEMBER, COULD HE TAKE FOX NEWS DOWN WITH HIM?

The president of the United States -- laser-focused on America's most pressing problems as usual -- just tweeted this a little while ago:

I think a Trump loss in November is far from certain -- but it seems clear that he's worried. He's lining up scapegoats in case he's defeated. (Obviously he won't bear any of the blame, in his opinion.) Fox is definitely on the scapegoat list -- and it seems possible that Trump is planning to turn One America News Network, a portion of which might be on the verge of being purchased by investors linked to Donald Trump Jr., into a rival for Fox after a defeat.

So if we beat Trump, will Fox lose a portion of its audience, at Trump's urging?

Some Trumpers seem prepared to abandon Fox, if they haven't already.

Or perhaps it's more likely that Trump is trying to browbeat Fox into providing him even more fawning coverage than usual prior to the election. If he loses, he might be too busy crying about "voter fraud!!!" to blame Fox.

But assuming he actually does leave office, he's likely to give Fox some of the blame , and his fan base will probably do the same. If it means that lunatic OANN becomes more powerful, maybe it's not much of a trade-off, but if Trump's scapegoating does real damage to Fox, that will be very satisfying.
