Sean Hannity clarifies his plans:
Sean Hannity To Leave New York As Soon As Son Graduates High School, He SaysHannity's Wikipedia page leads me to this People magazine story about Hannity from February 2002 -- twelve years ago. At the time, Hannity's son, Patrick, was three years old.
On Friday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo noted a schism between moderate and conservative New York Republicans....
On his radio program Monday Sean Hannity first threatened to leave New York over [Cuomo's] comments -- taking issue with the line that pro-life, pro-gun conservatives "have no place" in New York....
On Fox News Tuesday Hannity said he would leave New York after his son graduates high school: "As soon as I am able, some time probably when my son graduates from high school, I'm getting out of here as quick as I can."
So that would make Patrick fifteen now. So he's a sophomore? A freshman?
So what Hannity is basically saying to us is, "Damn straight I'm going to stand on principle! You'll see! Check back with me in ... um ... three years!"
Remember, back in 2009, when torture advocate Hannity agreed to allow himself to be waterboarded for charity? He never fulfilled that promise -- instead, he attacked those who brought it up in ensuing years. This is going to be just as hollow a promise. Bring it up around the time of Patrick Hannity's graduation, and I guarantee you that Hannity will self-righteously attack you for going after his family.
