POLITICAL IVY LEAGUERS: COMPARE AND CONTRAST

Kathleen Parker in a Washington Post column today:

... Democrats ... pride themselves these days on being members of the "smart" party. Indeed, the Ivies do seem to be mass-producing Democrats, including the last two Democratic presidents.

Um, Kathleen? The Ivies also produced the last two Republican presidents, George W. Bush (B.A., Yale, 1968; M.B.A., Harvard, 1975) and George H.W. Bush (Yale, 1948). But why let the facts get in the way of a nasty quip?
