We learned this early last week:

President Joe Biden's signature will not appear on the stimulus checks expected to be sent to Americans once the Covid stimulus plan is passed, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday....

Psaki said during Tuesday's White House press briefing that Biden didn't think the inclusion of his signature on the payments "was a priority or a necessary step. His focus was on getting them out as quickly as possible."

At a site called WeLoveTrump.com, a writer named Noah thinks he knows what it really means.

Green screens, fake White House sets, no Air Force One call symbol when he travels, the list goes on and on and on!

And here’s another one.

When President Trump sent out stimulus checks, his big and beautiful signature was right on the check!

You know, exactly like you’d expect!

But this new batch under the alleged “Biden Administration”....?

No Biden signature.

I'm not in the mood to go down every rabbit hole with this guy -- the notion that Biden recently faked an exchange with reporters in front of a green screen was debunked by PolitiFact and others -- but yes, he believes that Biden didn't sign the checks because he's not actually president. I'm sure at least a million other Americans agree with him.

It’s just a digital upload of his signature onto the printer before it prints the checks.

It would take about an extra 5 minutes.

That is, if you were really, actually President.

But in April, when Trump decided to put his name on the first round of checks, The Washington Post reported that adding the signature was "a process that could slow their delivery by a few days." The Post also noted that this was "unprecedented."

It will be the first time a president’s name appears on an IRS disbursement, whether a routine refund or one of the handful of checks the government has issued to taxpayers in recent decades either to stimulate a down economy or share the dividends of a strong one.

The president isn't authorized to sign the checks, as the Post reported.

... the president is not an authorized signer for legal disbursements by the U.S. Treasury. It is standard practice for a civil servant to sign checks issued by the Treasury Department to ensure that government payments are nonpartisan.

The checks will instead bear Trump’s name in the memo line, below a line that reads, “Economic Impact Payment,” the administration officials said.

Biden didn't want to bother with this -- and your right-wing relatives think it's because he's not really president.
