RIGHT-WINGERS BELIEVE THAT ALL MASS SHOOTINGS ARE THE FAULT OF DEMOCRATS

First, let's acknowledge that not every mass-murdering scumbag is a conservative. Heavy.com has examined the online presence of Dayton shooter Connor Betts and determined that he held left-wing views:

Connor Betts, the Dayton, Ohio mass shooter, was a self-described “leftist,” who wrote that he would happily vote for Democrat Elizabeth Warren, praised Satan, was upset about the 2016 presidential election results, and added, “I want socialism, and i’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding.”

Betts’ Twitter profile read, “he/him / anime fan / metalhead / leftist / i’m going to hell and i’m not coming back.” ...

Heavy confirmed the Twitter page through multiple verification factors, including a matching tattoo on both a page selfie and prominent news outlets’ pictures of Connor Betts; several family linkages to the page; similar photos, including of him and the family dog, on the page and family members’ verified accounts; and references to college and growing up in Ohio and Dayton.

I'll acknowledge with great regret that this SOB was one of ours, as was the congressional softball shooter, James Hodgkinson. But much of the right won't acknowledge that any mass violence is right-wing.

Below are just some of the comments to a Breitbart thread about the El Paso shooter, Patrick Crusius, a Trump fan and white separatist.

According to the commenters, mass shootings are the fault of Democrats and the left exclusively because we compel them to shoot people:

I propose we blame:

1) Shooters.

2) Those responsible for "gun-free zones"/soft targets.

3) Those in the media who make this a way to become famous.

4) Leftists who promote hostility,
a) encourage fellow leftists to violence,
b) make other unhinged people react.

The shootings are our fault because we're not religious enough:

Our society has deteriorated, blame liberalism's lack of discipline and accountability and the slow death of religion.

Maybe it's just a coincidence that when America was religious, virtuous, and basically conservative, these things rarely happened.

Here is the way that the wool has been pulled over the People's eyes by the MSM:

Patrick Crusius's Bio showed him to be a registered Democrat at 14:46 yesterday.

At 14:50 it showed him to be a registered Republican, a former campaign worker for Donald Trump and a Qanon conspiracy theorist...

At 14:52 it showed him to be a NRA member with a 'racist manifesto' online.

The Democrats have been caught red-handed !!!

apparently he was democrat but his social media account was just changed (by who? FB, Google, Twitter, Instagram?) to republican.

This story was spread on the popular pro-Trump disinformation site Gateway Pundit.

In fact, as Snopes notes, a MyLife page was created for Crusius after the shooting. No politcal affiliation was listed.

Then the profile was altered (probably not by “leftists”) to state that the suspect was “currently a registered Democrat Party” [sic], and that his “ethnicity is Antifa; and religious views are listed as Antifa”...

The profile was altered again to show a political affiliation with the Republican Party and to report the suspect’s “Ethnicity is Nutso Wall-Wanting Caucasian; religious views are confirmed Whacky Christian. Strong Second Amendment supporter and beneficiary of the NRA’s patriot of the year medal”...

As of this writing, myriad pranksters and critics from both sides of the political spectrum have been having a field day editing the suspect’s profile....

Nevertheless, the Breitbartniks continue to think we're the real criminals -- and, of course, you know who's reaally to blame:
