The Harvard Republican Club announced it would not support Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump, and called for Republican leaders to withdraw their support of the candidate they called a “threat to the survival of the Republic” in a press release Thursday. This ought to be the perfect opening for him. Harvard! Elitists! The establishment! The school that let that Kenyan-born Barry Soetoro into its law school even though he was obviously unqualified!
In the scathing statement, the largest conservative group at Harvard cited “both policy and temperamental concerns” about Trump and condemned his divisive campaign rhetoric they say “is poisoning our country and our children.” ...
“His authoritarian tendencies and flirtations with fascism are unparalleled in the history of our democracy,” the Republican Club said in a statement. “He hopes to divide us by race, by class, and by religion, instilling enough fear and anxiety to propel himself to the White House.”
Has Trump said anything about this yet? Isn't it a perfect opportunity for him to play to the "poorly educated," whom he loves?
Maybe he'll get around to it. Still, dude used to be so quick on the Twitter thumbs that he'd have a response to something like this in less time than it takes to cross Mass Ave. He's really slipping.
tRUMP's too busy reelin', to do any "ritin'!"
ReplyDeleteHe's got kind of a target-rich environment just now.
ReplyDeleteCan we start the beginning of third party voting now?
ReplyDeleteHe's not just slippin' ...he is straight up trippin'.
ReplyDeleteLOSER!
He's too busy talking about that top secret Iran tape...
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Kathy! Donald Trump is the leader of a new, hate-filled authoritarian. Me and Adam hate him!
ReplyDeleteAt this rate of attrition, Trump will lose the Klan before this is over.
ReplyDeleteWell, to be fair, when traffic is heavy it can take quite a while to get across Mass. Ave. without being run down.
