The six officers accused in the death of Freddie Gray face a litany of charges that include second-degree depraved-heart murder, involuntary manslaughter, false imprisonment and misconduct in office. And now:

And not just Fox -- here's Right Wing News:
Baltimore Police Officers Identified, 3 Of 6 Are BlackReally? I'm sorry, but black people been have been telling us for years that even black cops internalize the values of the system. Even your melanin-deficient correspondent remembers sitting in a theater watching Boyz N the Hood back in 1991:
This kinda erases the whole “it’s all about racism” talking point....
Melodramatic? Yeah, but it was obvious even to me that you wouldn't create a character like that if he wasn't based on real experiences. And a generation later, not much has changed.
Melanin deficient? Does that mean you are white, or a light colored person of mixed race?
ReplyDeleteThere are all sorts of minorities of both sexes, who side with Authority figures.
ReplyDeleteHere are just a few:
Allen West.
Herman Cain.
Nikki Haley.
Susana Martinez. *
I could go on.
In order to assimilate into the police, minorities also have to assimilate into the police mindset.
Just like these politicians and wannabe's above have to assimilate into the conservative political mindset.
You can't beat the pay and benefits that come with the GOP being able to point at you, and say, "You see! We're not prejudiced!!!"
And if you agree with them, they conservatives aren't prejudiced.
They just use you as a Judas-goat, to hopefully lead others like you, into the tiny tent of Conservatism.
*I still don't get how Log Cabin Republicans can be conservatives, but, hey, whatever boat's your float at the Gay Pride Parade...
Did Jewish kapos at Auschwitz mean the Holocaust wasn't anti-semitic?

ReplyDeleteThe Alien?
The only stat that matters is that 100% of the indicted Baltimore cops were police officers.

ReplyDeleteWhen Walter Scott was shot in the back by a white cop the 2nd cop on the scene was black. He acted just as casually indifferent to Scott as the cop who shot him.
ReplyDeleteBlue is stronger than black and white.
Indeed, blue is the real problem, not black and white.
ReplyDeleteWhy won't the leaders of the white community condemn irresponsible media reporting?
