(Hi, I'm back. Happy New Year. Thanks, Aimai, Crank, and Tom, for sitting in while I was gone. More posts soon....)

  1. Welcome back....

    Uhm...
    Steve M, is it?

And yeah, I joked almost 20 years ago, the year before my late father retired, that he and I paid more in taxes, being a machine shop foreman and bartender, than Exxon.

The more things change, the more things stay the same...
    Pathetic.
We are a nation with too many stupid and ignorant people - due to too much racism, misogyny, xenophobia, homophobia, and/or "Christianity."

A HAPPY NEW YEAR, TO ONE AND ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Happy New Year, Steve et al. Glad you were/are in my old undergrad stomping ground. Santa Fe's a dandy place.

And when I say HNY, I'm refusing to think of the midterms just yet...

  4. Odd, BH, mine as well. SF '95.

In fact, I too was there on Monday, Steve, although I only live an hour south.

    Glad you're back.

  5. St. J's '73, Sator. Were you College of SF or SJC?

  6. SJC. One of those, I'm afraid, like yourself.

  7. I'll be damned, Sator. Small world, indeed. I'd give you the secret Johnnie handshake if there were one.
