Right-wingers are alerting us to a new statistic they regard as evidence of America's decline:
Recovery woes: America's second-largest employer is a temp agencyHmmm ... Kelly Services is the #2 employer in America, just behind Wal-Mart. When have I heard this before?
Behind Wal-Mart, the second-largest employer in America is Kelly Services, a temporary work provider....
Oh, yeah -- in 2008, when George W. Bush was still president, as noted here and here:

Yes, I thought we could hope for more from Obama. But what we have now isn't a uniquely Obama-esque decline. It's a continuation of what we had pre-Obama. Righties, I don't recall you posting those 2008 stats. Did you?
If they did, they'd never admit it!
ReplyDeleteYou'd never know we weren't the most perfect, exceptional country in the history of the universe, up until that Kenyan Usurper put his hand on the Kora... Bible.
And then, everything went to sh*t in a matter of minutes!!!
I've become paranoid enough to believe that at least some business leaders are holding off on putting cash back into the system by hiring new people until they get a reliably business-friendly, regulation-hatin' President in the White House. If we elect a Republican in 2016, I'm willing to bet hiring will take right off.
