RIGHT-WINGERS ARE ODDLY DELIGHTED BY OBAMA POOP JOKES

Yeah, this is nasty -- though it's not the first time wingers have delighted in their own scintillating wit after making an Obama/outhouse joke:
Outside the Montana state Republican Party convention this weekend was an outhouse labeled the "Obama Presidential Library" and covered in painted-on bullet holes.

Inside the outhouse contained a fake birth certificate for Barack Hussein Obama, according to the Helena Independent Record....
There have been politician poop jokes since at least the days of Nixon and Agnew (oldsters will remember this poster imagine Nixon on the crapper), so, um, neither side has taken the high road on this sort of thing.

But I do find a particular category of anti-Obama poop/outhouse merchandise that I don't find for any other politician:

Don't like that design? You can get a stein with this variant:

Or one of these, or one of these, or one of these...

I just don't find this for any other pol: "Back in a minute -- I have to a Bush"? No. "I have to take a W"? No. "I have to take a Romney"? No. "I have to take a Palin"? No. "I have to take a Clinton"? No. This seems to be limited to Obama. Draw your own conclusions as to why other pols are linked to crap, but right-wingers laugh when you say Obama is crap.

  1. I'm guessing very few Republicans submit captions for cartoons in the New Yorker, either. And Michelle Obama could never have gotten away with telling a joke about milking a stallion.

  2. I'll be right back, I've got to go take a Walden*.

*Greg Walden, Oregon District 2 "Representative".

  3. It isn't just wingnuts, alas. Hipster ("ironic") racism is alive and well.

  4. Or rather, alive and sick.

  5. I suggest start calling bidet's "Mitt's," or "Romney's."

"A single schpritz from a Mitt, and you'll vote for him!"

Or, if you REALLY enjoy it, maybe want to end DOMA - and move to SF, or the West Village in NYC.

  6. Tom, that's appalling.

  7. Kinky Friedman, in his novels, always, without fail, referred to the act of defecation (a frequent topic, especially as performed by the cat) as "taking a Nixon" ...

  8. Tom's point is well taken - we're engaging in this as we speak.

  9. Interesting point about Friedman, considering he endorsed "Oops" Perry for Prez this year. Friedman = an ego in search of a reason to inflate.

  10. Kinky was sufficiently in sync with the left when that was in vogue, but he loved him some Bush and Lieberman and the Iraq War. He hasn't been lefty for a long time, and deep down I doubt he ever was.

  11. "Kinky is a longtime pal and defender of Don Imud"

Now, that's what I call a felicitous typo if ever there was one.

  12. Indeed. Or indees.

  13. Now, now, attacking the Kinkster's politics or person is not really an adequate defense of your statement that the usage is "limited to Obama" is it? I referenced his novels because it's in print, many times. Try Googling "taking a Nixon" (with quotes) — the term has been in the urban dictionary for a while. (Of course, it was more appropriate than the recent conservative attempt at scatological humor.) But I love you anyway.
