A YOUTHFUL INDISCRETION

Dave Wiegel:

... it's frustrating to watch Christine O'Donnell get beaten up for all of the stuff she said as a pundit in the 1990s. The problem is that she was a pundit in the 1990s. She's spent her life as an activist, pundit, spokesperson and candidate, so there's nothing else to go on when assessing her views.

Christine O'Donnell:

They are -- they are doing that here in the United States. American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains. So they're already into this experiment.

Know when she said that?

Not in the 1990s. In 2007, on Bill O'Reilly's show.

She was 38 years old at the time. It was only three years ago.
