THE UNDEAD

Well, we knew this was coming:

Don Imus will end his radio exile of nearly eight months by returning to the air on or about Dec. 3, filling the morning drive time slot on WABC-AM, a person familiar with the plans said Monday....

Citadel presumably will syndicate the program on the radio and seek a partner for a TV simulcast....

Perfect -- not only is WABC the New York radio home of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham, it's also the station that recently brought back Bob Grant, the staggeringly racist ("if they didn't observe Martin King Day, there would be trouble from the savages") king of an earlier generation of New York right-wing talkers whose return to radio had been urged by Sean Hannity. So Imus should feel right at home.

By the way, don't send protest letters to Disney/ABC -- despite its name, the station is now owned by Citadel Communications.
