I know it's silly to pay even the slightest attention to Chris Muir's shrill, dull, poorly drawn and utterly marginal right-wing comic strip "Day by Day," but the first panel of today's installment brought me up short:



Yeah, right -- "If Kitty Dukakis were raped and murdered, would you favor an irrevocable death penalty for the killer?" That was a real softball, wasn't it?
