From an interview with self-help guru Deepak Chopra in this week's Entertainment Weekly:

Who would you most like to teach to meditate?

George W. Bush. So he can stop being at war with himself. I think his external actions are a reflection of certain deep anguish and conflicts that he has with his own shadows.


Is that it? Anguish? I thought he was just a spoiled brat.

And I don't think he has "conflicts ... with his own shadows." I think he has conflicts with everyone else's shadows, except the shadows of people who kiss his ass and tell him he's brilliant.

Now I know why I pay no attention to self-help gurus....
