You might say the Janet Jackson moment of President Bush's inaugural festivities came Tuesday at a youth concert ...

... the lead singer of Fuel proclaimed, "Welcome to the greatest ——ing country in the world." Brett Scallions followed with a quick apology of "excuse my language." ...

Merciful heavens!

But it's worse than that -- via the "Notes" section of Fuel's Web site, I learn that Scallions was having impure thoughts at Christmastime about a certain young lady who's in another band:

Abby and I haven't seen each other for a bit due to SLUNT being support for the Marilyn Manson tour but we are meeting in Tennessee tomorrow so I can throw on my birthday suit and chase her around the house.

Saints preserve us! The lead singer at a concert for Our Holy President lusts after a woman he's dating (no, they're not married) whose band opens for Marilyn Manson, and who poses for naughty magazines! Plus, she's worked for that Satanic MTV!

But it gets worse -- look what else Scallions wrote in that note in December:

HO! HO! HO! MERRY FUGGIN CHRISTMAS!!!

O, get thee behind me, Satan ... what will Bill O'Reilly say?

*****

Fuel -- I appreciate Fuel being here....

I want to thank you all for setting such a fantastic example. (Applause.) Thank you for your service.
