Richard Perle, chairman of the Pentagon's Policy Advisory Board, is running his mouth again. According to this UPI article, he's now calling France "our erstwhile ally" and accusing Jacques Chirac of believing "deep in his soul that Saddam Hussein is preferable to any likely successor." You want more? The UN sucks, too: "It is now reasonable to ask whether the United States should now or on any other occasion subordinate vital national interests to a show of hands by nations who do not share our interests." I would say that somebody needs to explain to this guy that he's effectively speaking for the U.S. government, not sitting in for Sean Hannity on Fox, but I think he knows that perfectly well -- and so does his commander in chief.
