In a list of forthcoming books, the e-mail newsletter PublishersLunch includes this one, slated to be published by Scribner (a division of Viacom's publishing arm, Simon & Schuster) "in time for the 2004 election":

Craig Unger's TWO DYNASTIES: THE SECRET HISTORY OF THE BUSH FAMILY AND THE HOUSE OF SAUD, about the "elaborate and secret liaison between two of the most important and influential families in the East and in the West" dating back to the seventies and claiming that "America's most powerful political family and its allies [was] gradually seduced by its Saudi counterparts," and promising "new ground in telling the real story behind allegations that George W. Bush engaged in insider trading at Harken Energy in the Eighties" and revelations about "Republican and Saudi disinformation efforts to discredit Clinton's attack on al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden" ...

Interesting.
